The adoption process
Our adoption process is designed to ensure that each cat is matched with a family that will love and care for them for the rest of their lives. We ask that each potential adopter fills out an application, which includes a few screening questions. Once approved, we'll work with you to find the perfect cat for your family. We offer ongoing support after the adoption to make sure the transition goes smoothly and that the cat and the new family are happy.

Adoption Form
Once you have decided you want to adopt, the first step is to download and complete the adoption form. Email your completed form to info@tinypawsofhope.co.uk

Home Check
Once your adoption form has been received, our team will process your details and be in touch to arrange a home check.
Home checks can be carried out in person or via a video call (dependant on volunteer availability).
Home checks are nothing to be worried about, we are simply making sure you are adopting for the right reasons and are able to provide a long, safe and loving home.

Reservation
Once you adoption is confirmed, we then ask you to either pay a 50% deposit or full balance.
Please note adoption fee's are not refundable.

Flight Preparation
Once your cat has been reserved and adoption fee paid, we then begin working on arrangement for travel.
These include various vaccinations, flea and wormers, fit to fly heath checks, microchipping, booking flights, making travel arrangements, completing customs import/export paperwork, arranging pet passports.

Flight Day
You'll be kept in the loop with regular updates throughout the process.
On flight date, we will complete all necessary checks with our vet partners to ensure cats are fit and healthy to fly and arrange airport check ins.
You will normally collect your cat from the airport, unless a courtier has been arranged (additional costs incurred).

Post Adoption Check In
We will stay in touch with you after adoption to ensure your new friend settles smoothly, and are on hand with any help or advice you may need to ensure your all one big happy family as quickly as possible.
